ELIGIBILITY

  • Indian Higher Secondary Certificate (Class XII) CBSE or CISCE Boards: grades ranging from 84% to 93%
  • India Higher Secondary Certificate (Class XII) Maharashtra State Board: grades ranging from 84% to 93%
  • Indian Higher Secondary Certificate (Class XII) West Bengal Board: grades ranging from 74% to 83%
  •  Indian Higher Secondary Certificate (Class XII) All Other State Boards: grades ranging from 89% to 98%
  • If you have completed the standard XII awarded by the CISCE/CBSE, or another recognised state exam board, with at least 75% overall, you may be considered for admission to a first year Bachelors degree. For many courses at the University of Leicester, you will need 80% overall or higher, along with higher individual marks of 85% in relevant subjects
  • If you hold a Bachelors degree from an Indian University with a First class classification and an average of at least 60/75% (depending on the subject that you wish to study), you will be considered for entry to a Masters degree
  • A minimum of a 2:2 UK honours degree in either Behavioural Science, Business, Criminology, Law, Psychology, or in a human or political science, or a recognised equivalent international qualification. We can also consider relevant work experience if you don’t meet these requirements.
